Let’s begin our call to more by considering the ministry of an organization by the name of Plant Midwest. Plant Midwest is a unique ministry which exists to encourage and equip all those participating in the church planting movement here in the Midwest. To that end, they host quarterly meetings for church planters, potential planters, pastors of established churches, leaders, and street missionaries from various regional gatherings and associations throughout Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Michigan, and Nebraska. Not only do they provide these quarterly meetings but they are catalyst for churches to partner together as we carry out the gospel mission.
The Call to More
PRAY
Please be in prayer for this ministry in the following ways:
- Pray for more workers for the ministry
- Pray for the faithfulness of the church planters participating
- Pray for the hearts of those to whom they are seeking to reach
- Pray for unity and vision in the leadership of Plant Midwest
ENCOURAGE
As was stated before in a previous post, if we are to do more then we must care. Take time to express your care by sending the leaders of this ministry a note of encouragement or a written prayer. You can follow this ministry on Facebook, as well as the leaders.
GIVE
Prayerfully consider how you might give to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. A significant amount of funding for this ministry comes from the North American Mission Board. Your generous gifts support the Plant Midwest’s ministry, thereby supporting countless church planters throughout the Midwest. You can help our church reach its goal of $3,000 for Annie Armstrong by signifying that on your offering envelope. You can also directly give to the Annie Armstrong Easter offering here.
GO
You may be asking how can I partner with this ministry. I would encourage you to consider making a trip to one of their quarterly meetings, so you can get to know the various leaders and church planters. These events are posted on their website.
This video may give you a better perspective on how you can participate in their ministry.
