Where do I park?
We have parking located along S. Elm Street for visitors. We also have parking behind the church and along Ozark Street.
If you need assistance getting from your car please call the office (417.962.3106) and one of our deacons will gladly assist you.
Where do I go after I arrive?
If you are planning on attending Sunday School the back door would be the best entrance. If you are visiting the worship service I would encourage you to use the front door. At both location you will be greeted by one of the members. Let them know you are a visitor, so they can assist you in finding a classroom and other pertinent information.
Will I be called out?
Don’t expect us to put you on the spot. We won’t make you stand up during the service to announce yourself as a guest. However we certainly do want to know who you are and find out if First Baptist Church of Cabool is the church for you, so expect a few people to try and connect with you.
In the pew in front of you or on your seat, there will be a connection card. The connection card is our way to communicate with you, our way of getting to know you better. Please fill out as much information as you feel comfortable with and take it to the connection table. Upon turning in a connection card for the first time, we will give you a welcome gift.
What do I wear?
There will be some dressed in suits and some dressed in bib overalls, so please come dressed in a way that you feel comfortable.
What is the service like?
Each service includes prayer, scripture reading, and a blended style of worship. This is followed by a 45 minute expositional sermon, which seeks to explain and apply scriptures.
What will my children do?
We have a variety of children’s activities you can read about here. During the entire worship service, we have a nursery for ages birth through 3 years old. We also have the children’s program “Praise” during the preaching portion of the service for any child ages three years old thru Kindergarten.
Are you going to take our money?
We are NOT going to ask you for money. We do take an offering, which is an opportunity for our members to give back a portion of what was given to them, as an act of worship. You are welcome to participate but do not feel obligated.
