Sunday mornings at 9:30am we have a variety of training courses, design to assist disciples of Christ in LEARNING how to study God’s Word and define their of faith. We invite you to consider the following training groups!
While your child is making their journey through life, we believe they must “Prepare.” There are a variety of ways to prepare but the most important way is to study God’s word. Therefore, our Sunday morning children’s ministry will take your child deep into God’s word through object based learning. They will explore the people, places, and objects of the Bible in historical context and compare them to modern–day life. If your child is preschool through 6th grade, these would be the perfect fit for them.
Every Sunday morning we challenge the students, grades 6th – 12th, to step into God’s Word by using the Explore the Bible Curriculum. During this time they will open the Bible and learn to study it for themselves. This is not a time to be talked at but a time they are called to share. In an age of biblical ignorance we believe this will prepare the students to study and apply the Scriptures wherever they find themselves.
The Explore the Bible study equips students with skills on how to study the Bible with context and meaning while showing them how the text applies to their lives today. As illustrated in the video, it gives the students the unique opportunity to tread through Scripture together and overcome any challenges they may find.
We have an opportunity for Adults to gather in a variety of age-oriented classes to explore the Bible together. For every Christian, a deep knowledge of the Word helps make the difference between a shallow faith and a life of trust and obedience. This kind of faith does not come from information but through the transformation encouraged by a deep dwelling of the Word of God.
Explore the Bible: Adults helps participants grow in their love for Scripture personally and in their study groups, gain new knowledge about what the Bible teaches, develop biblical disciplines, and internalize the Word in a way that impacts their daily life.
